Fans of the recently resurrected Twin Peaks will recognize Salish Lodge as The Great Northern Hotel, and it’s no wonder producers of the supernatural ’90s cult hit chose to film here, just 30 minutes from Seattle. The mist from the falls gives the area an ethereal quality; the Snoqualmie Indians believe their people are born from the mist and return to it in the afterlife. The view here is from a spa room with a falls view.
