Hilton Worldwide has launched a monthly spa treatment membership called “The Spa Club” at properties worldwide across six Hilton brands, the worldwide hospitality company announced Thursday. Although standalone spa brands also offer monthly memberships, Hilton is the first major hotel brand family to roll out a monthly treatment membership.

“We look forward to welcoming new members to Spa Club locations around the world. We’re proud to be the first in the industry to offer a flexible, affordable program in response to profound recent cultural interest towards healthier, more balanced living.” Ryan Crabbe, Hilton Worldwide’s Senior Director of Global Wellness told examiner.com.

Hilton launched the program in responses to a successful pilot program at The Hilton Short Hills. Participating spas will offer members 6 or 12 month memberships, payable monthly on a recurring basis. The price of the membership will include a 50-60 minute massage or a facial during designated hours each week (lower traffic periods, typically weekdays and weekday evenings) at a minimum discount of 30% for a 12 month membership or 20% for a 6 month membership. Hilton has set minimum discounts and inclusions for the program, while hotels have the latitude to tailor some aspects of the program to the local market.

Spa Club memberships will also include a minimum 5% discount to be used on other treatments at any time, either at the location where they maintain their monthly membership, or at other participating Spa Club locations worldwide (although the monthly treatment can only be redeemed at the enrollment location). Also available to Spa Club members is complimentary hotel parking, free use of the fitness and spa facilities the day of the treatment and merchandise discounts.

Participating spas will be located at urban and suburban locations around the world at properties flagged by the following Hilton brands: Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Curio – A Collection by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Embassy Suites by Hilton.
